Kourtney Kardashian Barker broke her silence on the death of her Aunt Karen Houghton on Monday - nearly a month after her passing at age 65.
The 45-year-old reality star - who rarely posts about extended family members - Instastoried a toddler-aged snap of herself circa 1980 resting in the arms of 'Auntie Karen' along with heart and angel wing emojis.
The part-time nurse - who suffered from Type 2 diabetes and bipolar disorder - died on March 18 in San Marcos, CA from 'cardiac arrest and sudden cardiac arrhythmia,' according to TMZ.
It was the same day Kourtney attended the Target launch of the sugar-filled vitamin and botanical supplement company, Lemme, she co-founded in 2022 with publicist Simon Huck.
On March 21, Kardashian's younger sister Kim shared a couple more snaps of them spending quality time with Karen as children and teenagers.

The 43-year-old SKIMS co-founder captioned her Instagram tribute slideshow to Houghton: 'I love you so much Auntie Karen.'
The former PSA stewardess - who's the younger sister of their momager Kris Jenner - called The Kardashians producer-star 'beautiful Kourtney' in a Facebook post from 2015.
Speaking of which, the 68-year-old matriarch called Karen 'beautiful inside and out' and 'the sweetest, kindest, most sensitive, vulnerable, and so so fun.'
'She holds such a huge part of my heart and I cherish every single memory we have together,' Kris wrote in her Instagram tribute on March 19.
'Karen's passing is a reminder that life is so short and precious and tomorrow is never promised. We must tell those we cherish how much we love them. I love you my beautiful sister.'
Jenner - who hadn't been pictured with Houghton since Christmas 2019 - wrote that her 'heart aches' for her mother MJ and niece Natalie Zettel, whom Karen welcomed in 1997 during her marriage to ex-husband Mark Zettel.
And while Houghton had been known to call the wealthy grandmother-of-14 'a nutcase' who should've bought their ailing mother 'a condo in La Jolla' - she underwent a five-hour face lift in 2016 in order to look more like her.
Kardashian and her famous family will next executive produce and star in the 10-episode fifth season of The Kardashians, which premieres May 23 on Hulu.

As for the half-Armenian beauty's neighbor-turned-husband Travis Barker (M, pictured March 20), he doesn't resume Blink-182's 91-date 2023-2024 World Tour until August 23
On February 19, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians spin-off won reality show of the year at the People's Choice Awards after winning the best docu-reality series trophy at the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards.
The half-Armenian beauty was technically the first member of her family to star in a reality show - The Simple Life-inspired eight-episode series Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive, which aired in 2005 on E!
As for Kourtney's neighbor-turned-husband Travis Barker, he doesn't resume Blink-182's 91-date 2023-2024 World Tour until August 23 with a concert at the Little John's Farm in Reading, England.
It should give Kardashian and the 48-year-old drummer an opportunity to bond with their five-month-old son Rocky Thirteen Barker, who's already spent a lot of time on private planes.
The married couple of 22 months - collectively known as 'Kravis' - are also parents of three older children each with their exes Scott Disick and Shanna Moakler.
